This Privacy Policy describes how Sellvue, a sole proprietorship registered in Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, India ("we," "us," "our"), collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use the Sellvue platform at sellvue.in and app.sellvue.in ("Platform").

1. Information We Collect

From Sellers (Account Holders)

  • Account information: Name, email address, phone number, store name, store logo
  • Business information: GST details (if provided), bank account or payment gateway credentials (stored encrypted)
  • Product information: Product names, descriptions, images, prices, variants
  • Order data: Buyer details (name, address, phone, email), order amounts, payment status, shipping details
  • Usage data: Campaign performance, analytics, feature usage, login activity
  • Device data: Browser type, operating system, IP address

From Buyers (Visitors to Campaign Pages)

  • Order information: Name, email, phone number, shipping address (provided during checkout)
  • Payment information: Processed directly by Razorpay — Sellvue does not store credit card numbers, UPI IDs, or bank details
  • Browsing data: Pages visited, campaign source, device type, IP address

From Landing Page Visitors

  • Analytics data: Page views, scroll behavior, click events (collected via Microsoft Clarity, Google Analytics, and Vercel Analytics)
  • Form submissions: Name, email, phone, and message (when submitting feedback forms)

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To operate the Platform: Process orders, generate invoices, track campaign performance, manage subscriptions
  • To communicate with you: Send order notifications, subscription updates, product announcements, and support responses
  • To improve the Platform: Analyze usage patterns, fix bugs, develop new features
  • To provide analytics: Generate campaign and channel performance reports for Sellers
  • To process payments: Facilitate subscription billing through Razorpay
  • To comply with legal obligations: Tax reporting, fraud prevention, responding to legal requests

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We share data only in the following cases:

  • With Razorpay: For payment processing (subscriptions and buyer payments). Governed by Razorpay's privacy policy.
  • With shipping providers: Buyer name, address, and phone number are shared with courier services (e.g., Shiprocket) when a Seller ships an order.
  • With analytics providers: Anonymized usage data is shared with Microsoft Clarity, Google Analytics, and Vercel Analytics for platform improvement.
  • With Supabase: Our database provider. Data is stored on Supabase infrastructure with encryption at rest.
  • As required by law: If compelled by a court order, legal process, or government authority under applicable Indian law.

4. Data Storage and Security

  • Your data is stored on Supabase (hosted infrastructure) with encryption at rest and in transit.
  • Sensitive credentials (Razorpay keys, shipping keys) are encrypted before storage.
  • We use HTTPS across all Platform endpoints.
  • Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel only.
  • We do not store Buyer payment instrument details (credit card numbers, UPI IDs). These are processed directly by Razorpay.

5. Data Retention

  • Seller data: Retained for the duration of your account plus 30 days after account deletion. You may request data export during this period.
  • Buyer data: Order-related data is retained as part of the Seller's order history for as long as the Seller's account is active.
  • Analytics data: Aggregated and anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely for Platform improvement.
  • Form submissions: Retained until manually deleted by Sellvue.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Delete your account and associated data (subject to the 30-day retention period)
  • Export your data in a machine-readable format
  • Withdraw consent for non-essential communications (marketing emails)

7. Cookies and Tracking

The Platform uses cookies and similar technologies for:

  • Essential cookies: Authentication, session management, security
  • Analytics cookies: Microsoft Clarity (session recordings, heatmaps), Google Analytics (traffic analysis), Vercel Analytics (performance monitoring)

You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect Platform functionality.

8. Third-Party Links

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services (Razorpay, Shiprocket, social media platforms). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

9. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice on the Platform. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
